POWER HANDS was created as a direct response to those voices,
serving as a model that delivers consistent usability
from street courts to official competition,
and expanding the brand’s field into the world of organized play.

Many conventional JBA-certified basketballs have been criticized as being
“slippery,” “unresponsive,” or “difficult to handle,”
sometimes even becoming an obstacle to improvement,
especially for younger and intermediate players.

POWER HANDS rethinks those assumptions from the ground up,
aiming to be a JBA-certified basketball that is easy for all players to handle,
and that brings a sense of comfort and enjoyment into the game.

The outer cover is made from premium microfiber synthetic leather
manufactured by TEIJIN CORDLEY®,
which TACHIKARA defines as the highest-quality material for indoor play.
It delivers excellent grip and durability,
is resistant to the effects of sweat and humidity,
and maintains stable handling and control performance
even during extended play.

While JBA regulations require basketballs to be orange in color,
TACHIKARA worked together with TEIJIN CORDLEY to preserve its distinct world view,
developing a highly vivid fluorescent orange—
the signature Hot Orange color.
Despite being a JBA-certified ball,

The internal structure features a sponge carcass construction,
providing flexibility and cushioning.
